You might have the G502 Proteus Core because the G502 Spectrum is the newer one. I see since I have a G502 spectrum as well and it makes that sound. yes I have the newer one. NettetI'm in the same boat and pro x superlight is %50 off at gamestop rn. yup. disassembled it (remove the glide pads, 6 screws, use a plastic thing to wiggle the battery loose, remove the 4 screws for the buttons) 1 drop of ptfe grease between the spring and the ratchet and wiggle it a little -> tadaaaa no more noise.
